Wow, the effect is impressive, it leaves a strong impact and it's very eye catching.
To me there's maybe a little too much going on in the picture apart from the steel wool, and we're way too far from the subject so the effect is minimised. I'd love to see that becoming the only subject in the picture, giving it a bit more drama, cause if it's already impressive, with a little more thought into the angle and taking care of what appears in the background it can be mindblowing.
I think you could try a different composition, having the origin of the steel wool on the right maybe? That way, as that's where the movement starts, the bright light of that origin would be much more important in the picture and after that the rays would guid our eyes through the rest of the picture.
Right now, to get to that origin point our eyes have to wander through all the background and then we go "Ooh look, what a nice building. Oh wait, that's nt what the picture is about!".

I hope I explained myself good enough. ^^
